Stop in for a cup of coffee

chillin' - just got outta the shower, had some dinner, sittin' for the first time since this morning. I got the heads cleaned and the head bolts in, the timing chain cover cleaned up and installed and the damper installed.. pretty much draggin' *** now.

Either is a good choice, it just depends on what you want. I swapped my M1 for an airgap because I wanted the power at lower RPM and the M1 is really designed for high RPM. I did it in order to get the street cruiser power I wanted. My 360 isn't likely to see much over 4500 rpm and probably not for long when it does.

Yep, I'm draggin a bit myself. Spent pretty much all day detailing my car(Magnum). Using all Meguiars ' Ultimate'. Started with compound. Did whole care with DA buffer. It looked good, but felt gritty. So, I went online and figured out what I needed was clay. Ran to Autozone and got a kit. That stuff is amazing. Did that over the whole car. Then polished, waxed, cleaned windows...
I also got Meguiars stuff for black plastic trim. It works OK, but where I got it on the paint it made a smeary mess. I found I still had some Mothers 'Back to Black'. I used that and the excess cleans up much better.
Definitly the best it has looked in years. Sorry, no pic since it was getting dark till I was done for the day.

Cool that you got her put away. Glad you are happy with the car/shell. Should be a good one when you get your parts swapped over.

excellent! I have a set of LCA's with the tab for a swaybar.. undecided if I am going there on the Scamp or not..

The hellwig bar comes with two 90° brackets that you can install a longer lower shock bolt and use it to mount the sway bar if you don't have the tabs from the factory...

We had factory tab lower control arms on ours and didn't need them...

But they come with the sway bar if you need them...

Its runny enough to be like oil but thick enough to stick to everything and it doesn't leak out of the bad seal because it's too fat to fit through where the old oil seeped through.

Plus it has better resistance to viscosity breakdown so the exhaust manifold sitting right by the gear box is no match for the oil's thermo resistance.

It looks like honey coming out of the bottle and is so pretty ....but at 10 dollars a bottle...I better be entertained damn it!!!

I have redone a few manual steering boxes with a machine oil/grease we use on the Presses, similar viscosity as to what you are referring to. To runny to be a grease, yet to thick to be an oil. Our Printing Presses has a central lubrication system pumping this lubricant to all gears and chains. No "centrifugal flinging" at high speed.....sticks to all.

Branded with our own product range label, not for sale to general public. Works great on steering boxes!:D
