it's the one thing that has me scratching my head right now - - what to do about a carburetor..my engine guy said mechanical secondaries - of course the Demon I have is vacuum --- :violent1:
It is eye tearing rich at idle and has a bog when I step on it. Pulled the rods and they need to be thinned out along with the jets. Of course one of the springs fell hit the windage tray and then into no find land.
Try fishing for it with a magnet on a stick....ale:
No, vacuum secondary is fine for street.
Get the holley vacuum return spring kit and put the short yellow spring in the secondary pod so they open sooner....

Anders that is a BIG carb. It is on a worked 440 and might be to small.

No choke at all, actually. Don't know if it was removed or supplied without.
