Gave a deposit on a parts car yesterday, 64 Valiant more door, rusted beyond repair but a ton of good parts on it from the original owner!
Everything else is ready for assembly. Went back over the dash frame where there were some rust pits visible and fixed and re-painted. Got my Radio back from Ward Radio Services. Shout out to them for Quick/reasonable service. My stock AM radio now has FM reception,higher output and plug ins for devices . Wards is in Alabama and does a Great job.
Cool! What do they ask to do that?
450 . Most of the other modifiers were higher. Plus I did see where they were recommended by guys here on the sites.

I'd like to fInd a parts car. Not that I need the parts or more to do, just want to find one beyond repair and take it apart. My new neighbors are into cars. Not stuck on any brand. They just got an early 70s Torino and similar parts car. The kid was out cutting up the rusted hulk yesterday. I helped move some chunks around. They also have 2 convertibles '67 Cutlass I think probably gonna make 1 good one.
I went and picked up some straw and saw this ruster sitting there, asked the owner how much said make an offer so I said 200, should have said 100!

How are you getting it home?
42 degree's this morning and sunny/calm all day hitting 60 by 1pm.
That is the question! It is only about two miles from here. Trailer of some kind or bring my spare tires and tow it with the truck. It has 15" wheels on it now BBP.
Sounds like a Ron job.
He was involved with it! Should be pretty easy told him by the end of April. Figure right onto the lift and strip it fast.

I need to get a '97 neon home. Was my Dad's. It is drivable, but out of inspection and I think it needs some work done. Not sure I trust it for the drive from Quakertown. Plus, I really just want to change the title till I decide what I am doing with it. Not wanting to pay registration and insurance just to get it home and probably sit for a while.. Might just rent a tow dolly. A buddy nearby has a truck with hitch...
Good morning, might get to go home for the strong end. Got some things to do to the dart a new light switch and a third brake light for the back widow. Bought it from slantsixdan a while back but haven't been home for about a month now.
Can't wait to get out of Seattle for a couple days. Tired of all the noise and nothing but tall buildings to look at.

Hi Stan,
SSD knows his chit and sells some nice stuff. I got my 3rd brake light from him. Also my headlight relay kit I put in a couple weeks ago. Should be getting my side marker led's any day now...
FYI, the light is actually much more red than it looks in pic ( not yellow-orange), and clear when its not lit, so you barely see it when off

I was going to take the lower control arms and bushings into the machine shop and get them pressed in to surprise the kid, but I can't fine either and he's in a grumpy mood...
So I'm going to get in my "don't give a **** mood" and just let it go....
I'm so sick of fighting this same fight over and over because of lack of organization....
