Same story here. No sand blasting but met a fellow early A-body dude 20 minutes away. I'm hoping we can hang out soon now that the season is about to start.

The way I've seen hops grown in Germany was on poles maybe 15-18 feet high in rows maybe ten feet apart and with steel wire between the tops. Makes sort of a roof.
But that's serious german brewing industry growing, of course.

I follow his thread. It looks like he's doing a great job. And I'm partial to 66:s since that's what I have. Wish I could go over and make this great big road trip around the US and visit all you guys.

Give them the room they adapt. I only use about 1/4 acre for it and that is enough for me.

I only do serious brewing hops here thank to the Halifax grower... Did up another batch last night Ray with Magnum and Chinook as a finish hops... should be tasty

I just grow. Was going to start brewing originally then had people stopping by to buy and trade brew for hops so it kind of evolved. Right now I just concentrate on selling the rhizomes, the hops themselves are really not worth it on my scale.

I guess they are working out for you. You should be good for a while.

Yes, I tried to get a few things a while back. I see he was not well, must have been somewhere in that time. Not sure if it would be worth a road trip for the few parts I need now.
