Working on a new image for Rani...
I was going to do it like a super bee in a circle in vinyl for my cuda..
Like I said I have the art work. I'm sure you can do far better.
wow nice......is there anywhere we can make it unique to 67 ??
IDK, I'm just playing with it until someone tells me they want to see something different with it.
Here's where I am now...
You might have to unscrew it. Put in a bench vise and a long breaker bar. Try some heat.how do you guys remove shackle bolts??
I am trying to turn the bolt around.
I got these leaf springs off a 4 door valiant parts car but it looks like someone had the bolts backwards.
The head of the bolt is to the outside so the extra bolt length and nut interfere with the frame rail.
Then I thought of swapping sides but if I do that, the rear shackles will be backwards and not line up with the bolt holes on the rear of the car.
I don't know how they were on the valiant for over 30 years without interfering with the frame rails but the passenger side wont even go on the duster because the nut and bolt sticking out is totally in the way.
I got the driver side bolted to the duster before I realized the shackle bolt is backwards so I might have to take the spring back off and turn the bolt around to pass the bolt audit.
I even tried a press but that bolt is like MEGA on there.

not sure if I ever saw one like that with an engine on it's back.
if it did have an engine it would have to be a 383 for a 67 barracuda with that huge 67 383 only air cleaner on it .....
just throwing out ideas
I had to cut one of mine. Check out page 6 of my build thread, Posts 143 and 146 for all the fun.

Haha Karl afterwards I did feel like a tire kicker. I thought I might be ready to get in the game again but now I know I'm not. The old man seemed to enjoy the visit and I didn't take up too much of his time. One small thing I was able to clear up for him, that nothing happened to the pentastar on the drivers side fender...
All I got for tonight...
Rani changes her avatar Monthly.
She used to change it more often than her clothes.... :toothy1:
