Damn near identical motors.

so you both should 1/4mile at around 12.5 sec - ish?

Sounds about right.

Watching the City Council meeting. These have turned into a goat and pony show.

Probably...if I could get it to the ground with better rear tires.

I've only got 195/70/14 BFG T/A all around right now for the "stock" look. I also have 3.91 rear gears so that makes launch traction even more challenging.

Well needless to say, Im happy about my engine. I have 2 small oil leaks I need to fix, but it should perform nicely and hopefully I dont have to pull this engine again for many many more years.

I'm right there with you. It's a nice build and fun to drive. I'm sure you will enjoy it for many years as will I with mine!

BTW, what rear gears do you have? Just curious what you have and how the drivability might compare. :)

I hear that, even with the shitty engine I had prior to this one, I still couldnt get the car to hook with street tires. My brother is going to lend me his drag radials next time I go to the track. That will make things more interesting.

Send your wife in again to straighten them all out!

LOL Kick *** dear!

you get all the good TV!

Yep we do. There are 6 guys in the back row that question every decision the council makes. Along with that are 3 councilmen that question everything that the city does or wants to do. They (the "back row boys" and the "three stooges") always complain about taxes going up but none have come up with any tax savings ideas. They just point fingers and complain. Just as a couple examples, There is one of the back row boys that owns a $258,000 property (high for our town) but complains that his taxes are too high. Forrest, another back row guy, owns 6 rental properties (slum lord) and complains also about taxes and regulations for rental owners.
Did I say goat and pony show?
