Stop in for a cup of coffee

Now that there are a few of you experts on here, would anyone like to hop over to my build thread and take a look at my stance?

It gets tedious to double-post...

edit: This looks cool:

I have to run to the field and the deck crew just showed up. Busy day here today.

Eddie is coming over today so we can start to assemble his 340... :D

We're going to be working on it all day to see how much we can get done. We aren't messing with the crank and rods as I don't want to keep loosening and tightening the bolts and stretching them to where they may break/fail...

But we're going to change the cam, degree it to see where it is, then the heads and front of the engine...

We have to wait for CudaChick to do his intake to put that and the oil pan on. I just read a recent post from her saying that she's swamped.... :banghead: Hopefully she can turn it around quick for us.... :D

Eddie just sent it recently - he forgot to do it a week or two ago.... :banghead:

I may have to talk ditry/sweet talk her into pushing it through for us.... :glasses7: Giggity, giggity.... :D

So between Eddie's build, and the kid's new Valiant, The other kid's Valiant, and school, I will be busier than a one-legged man in an ***-kicking contest for a while.... :violent1:

I have a firechecken will let go cheap just don't tell the wife.:glasses7:

Holly crap just opened the hops e mail and got a lot of drop ships to do hope I have enough printer ink!

Hop and drop....

Good name for your business.... :glasses7:

The thing is, we always celebrate these things one day ahead of you. Christmas eve, Easter eve, Pentecost eve (never heard the word that google spat out).

The actual "days" are the red letter days but we do the celebration the day before.

Go figure.

I didn't know that... #-o

Happy Easter to you today....

I hear ya. I dropped from 260 to 195 several years ago (2008 I think) in about 3 months. Slowly gained most of it back. This time I am working more on actually changing my habits so whatever come off doesn't sneak back on.

I dropped from 230 to 190 from 2002 to 2005....

then stopped working out and it all came back and more.... :banghead:

I can't work out now, because I have arthritis in my elbows... It will be much harder now...

They are pretty awesome we have too many good burrito places ( is that possible?) One I like is called Roburritos

Same here...

We have lots of good Mexican restaurants around here also...

There are a few burrito places open past midnight here....

One local burrito place is open from 9 AM till 3 AM weekdays, and 9 AM till 5 AM on Fri and Sat....

So if I wake up hungry in middle of the night and have nothing to cook, or too lazy to cook, I can go get a burrito or nachos!!

So thoughts on the custom grille idea i have

Looks sorta like the Dodge grilles in the 90's and 00's...

But I would put some screen in the background, so any rocks and road debris that may get kicked up from the car in front of you doesn't damage the condenser or radiator...

But don't block too much airflow so they can cool properly... Think thin screen that is not too "meshy"... Like the square shaped garden screen or something similar...

I need the weigh-in for DNA and I can post "the chart".... :evil3:

Then let the teasing begin.... :poke:

Yeh, the look could work nice, but a lot of open space. Maybe some heavy 1/4" wire mesh set back and do the screen over it that actually looks black. Set it up so you can swap the screen when it gets dirty.

the radiator opening itself will have some 3/16th expanded steel screen in front of it to help protect it, thats regardless of stock or not grille.

Hey, sls!

I'm just back from a run with my wife. We very rarely have the opportunity to run together with her working irregular hours and our 4yo and all. I'm always happy whenever we actually pull it off.

Thanks for the help in my thread, Mitch and dukeboy.

id love to have one, any idea what he charges? I got steered toward one guy by another member but he wants....are you sitting down? 2500 bucks for a top view and a side view of my car.

$2500??? That's nuts!

My price is a lot less than that...I do them for free. :)

Did someone say Crabs ???

Those are some good looking crabs! I used to catch them all the time during the Summer when my Dad had his house on Long beach Island. Since we sold it a few years ago, I only get to go crabbing when I'm down there on vacation for a week each year. I also try to do some Fluke fishing too.

Here is some of last years catch...(I bought the Lobsters)
