does the lift have mechanical stop. Wouldn't trust it to park under if not.

Most do now-adays that said, I'd still cut the breaker off to make sure no one can bump the lift controls. we installed an On/Off switch inline on ours and I make sure to set the stops and lock them in place

Yup it is locked. Works well actually.

I turn the breaker off since it kills the led strip light transformer also so no phantom power loss.

In the switch I believe. Tell you the truth you just use it on high. There is a wire assy that goes to the switch power in ( I think a bullet connector to under the dash by the fuse block) then two wires and one out, google it you will find it.

OK, cause it needs two wires from switch to resistor. Then one from there to the motor. Motor is body ground for sure. Looking at FSM just adds confusion. I see wiring for blower and text in bothe chassis and body books references heated grid window with relay mounted behind the glovebox.

My 68 has a trunk light... I wonder if they would use that wire for defrost, if it didn't have the light.

Mine has trunk light. I think ther is an extra wire n the connector to it. So maybe that's it.

I think they are wrapped together going up there. Have to look been years since that went in.
