no and yes, for an abody with a 8.75, it doesnt use anything of the factory except for the perches, which it came with a set to relocate as you would if you were doing a spring relocation so i'll be moving the perches regardless
 
My prediction is that New England is going to lose tonight. I think they are over confident and are looking past this game.

Chris, how wide are the rear tires going to be than the front? If they are substantially wider then you want the centerline on the rear to be narrower than the fronts to maintain cornering balance.

my goal is to run the same size front/rear. looking at a 285/30/18 or similar. goal is 12 inch wide tires
 

I may push it to a 14 wide for the rear if I can,

course those measurements were prior to the flaring idea. so I may try to go even wider.

The general rule of thumb is that for every inch the rears are wider than the fronts you want to move the centerline of each rear wheel inboard by 1/4" compared to the front.

I run 275/40/20 on my SRT. I wouldn't want to drop the sidewall any lower for driving on the street. For a 285 I wouldn't go lower than a 35 sidewall. Remember that the tire PSI will need to drop as width increases to maintain contact patch and that means less protection from side wall compression if you hit a bump or pothole on the road. I wrecked one of my tires hitting a 1" deep pothole at 70 mph and created a bad bulge in the side wall. Others have taken out their wheels when running 275/30 tires.
 
I just talked with Gerst, he recommended no wider than a 12 in wide on the front
