Stop in for a cup of coffee

well i may have done something dumb yesterday at the tire shop.... I went ahead and ordered the front 2 tires I'm gonna run on the dart. now to save for the rims
I'm gonna have to agree that is dumb. How long till you plan to run it? Several years? Unless you figure you will burn the tread off in a couple years maybe OK. I hope to have Duster on the road soon, but the tires will be about a year old by then. They will probably be changed at some point due to old age, not wear out.

probably, but I needed them to start the body work mock up, that's why i only used two, and I went with a size I confirmed fit with the GTS suspension, they also fit newer mustangs so if they dont work for me, resale shouldnt be too bad.

Couldn't you find some 'used rubbers' for that?

probably but if by some miracle the car runs in the next year, it wont be too bad, plus I got a special on them, ended up saving about 150 bucks between the pair.

Wow 30 series. I figure about 3 1/2" between the tread and the rim. Can you say Low Pro!
3.4 to be exact, the other size I was looking at was a 275x35x18, which is .4 inches taller. but the height causes clearance issues and the wide is a full 1 inch narrower,.

I'm from the L60x15 era. I have to switch gears to understand the new metrics. LOL
