Yep, peeps of cake to make and everyone had more than one peeps of it.Looks like a Master Peeps of a cake. So is it a Peeps of cake to make?
Or even scarier...occasionally they do!None of which make much sense.
Just carbs? So is there an engine in your living room?I currently have 5 carburetors in my kitchen. Because: Single.
You're my new hero! I have kitchen **** in my garage because I'm not single!I currently have 5 carburetors in my kitchen. Because: Single.

yea - Quick FuelAlright, speaking of carbs. I have my eddy carb (Thanks Dave), but I also want to pick up a 600 Holley. The car sure does like that holley for the performance. I need vac secondaries w/electric choke preferred. Recommendations on which one????
Let us know. I should replace the ones on my 66. When we rebuilt the front of it I think the drivers side is in backwards. Clunk and pop when I back out of the driveway. OOps!I just talked to my Speed Shop guy. Looks like I can get in later this week and get the new torsion bars installed on the GTS. I can't wait to see how she drives after that. Those are the last pieces and the entire suspension will be all new.
that doesn't sound right Mike - I was under the impression that it ultimately doesn't matter...Let us know. I should replace the ones on my 66. When we rebuilt the front of it I think the drivers side is in backwards. Clunk and pop when I back out of the driveway. OOps!
Nope, the part number goes to the rear I believe. There is also a L and R on the originals.that doesn't sound right Mike - I was under the impression that it ultimately doesn't matter...

I've always been told the numbers go to the back as well. I believe when I bought my PST bars, they also mentioned that in the instructions. Could have something to do with the clocking of the bars, but not sure.Nope, the part number goes to the rear I believe. There is also a L and R on the originals.
there should be a L & R on any torsion bar - OEM or aftermarket - I swear there was on the ones I put in the Scamp last year. Of course I had had them around for years and have no idea where I got them either. There is debate as to whether or not there is a back or a front - Torsion Bar InstallNope, the part number goes to the rear I believe. There is also a L and R on the originals.
doesn't QF make a smaller cfm carb..??Well I was thinking that, since I did have that quick fuel 750. Just to much carb for my car. When I ran a Holley 600 the car actually scared be when it broke the tires loose in 2nd gear. No other carb did that... Eddy for cruising, Holley for playing!
In the Slayer series they make a 450, 600 and 750doesn't QF make a smaller cfm carb..??
so you still have the QF 750? why not try having it rejetted? In the Slayer series they make a 450, 600 and 750
I've spent the last 2 years playing with it. Car runs and drives fine with it, but when I put on the 600, the engine was so much smoother and felt like it had more low end power.so you still have the QF 750? why not try having it rejetted?
All good info but I reused my original bars. If you take one out and turn it backwards it will twist backwards.there should be a L & R on any torsion bar - OEM or aftermarket - I swear there was on the ones I put in the Scamp last year.
