I remember going past the house they bombed that had the bunker on it. They would dump their garbage and waste off the roof and neighbors would put food in buckets for them to hoist up.

Yep. There was another MOVE house in Chester where I was living at the time that was the same way. The Chester cops took that one without incident and it was quietly passed over in the news when it happened. The MOVE people had been stealing the heavy steel plates used to cover road holes during construction and were lining the inside of the house with them. All they wanted was a war...and Philly gave it to them.
