Stop in for a cup of coffee

Since when did Niger get prounced "Ne-jeer"? The j is soft like it rhymes with Cher
The correct pronunciation is using the French-sounding "nee-ZHER," and emphasize the second syllable so the word makes an approximate rhyme with "Pierre."

The Americanized "Ny-jer" has been around a long time...but wasn't ever correct.

Good to know. I haven't been paying attention. I'm sure the American Ny-jer was close to the Ni**er that is taboo to say now-days.
Funny, The bro's in my town call themselves that but I had better not do it. LOL Can I say that in the coffee shop? LOL

Funn

Funny thing about that "taboo" word. A local television station airs only old TV programs and recently I have seen episodes of 'Good Times', the 'Jeffersons' and 'All in the Family' that have used the word in the dialogue. It wasn't bleeped out either.

Have some fun and watch this video. This guy is a friend of my CEO, they went to college together in Australia.

Fast fingers on a small key board..happens to me all the time.

Although, you are probably right about Chris being a good huy...the description seems to fit!
