Not 'the point of it' from the start, but that was part of why I followed through with the Duster build. I have started several project cars over the years, but never 'finished' one. Then there is that I could never afford to pay someone to build it for me....Um no. The whole point of the dart was to learn new stuff.

fair enough, you all like hog roasts?Well considering you are hosting ityou wont have to drive far.
Surefair enough, you all like hog roasts?
Was never going to get done anyway. I will say, EVERY car I "Restored" ALWAYS cost lots more then planned. ALWAYS!! Finances really do figure into a resto as much as time does. IMO. I guess if your loaded, rich, you can farm it out, so time is a non factor. .of course now you'll NEVER get anything done on the Dart
Well, I can get a whole hog for 250 bucks.....Sure
It'd gotten done eventually. I'm right about the half way point. I've got the suspension work all done, the drive train will be finished this spring, was already almost done until the machine shop screwed me. It's the body and interior that'll take the most $$$ and the most time. Hoping to weld in the new hand made floor pan next weekend or the weekend after. Was never going to get done anyway. Very tough to "get it done" Seems there is always something left to do, till you sell the thing, or give it away!!Well, I can get a whole hog for 250 bucks.....

for me, it'll be considered "done" when i get to drive it on route 66. the rest will be tinkering and fine tuningVery tough to "get it done" Seems there is always something left to do, till you sell the thing, or give it away!!
yea - it takes some serious dedication and $$ to really get one done.. hell, I bought a "finished" race car but it ain't done as far as I am concernedWas never going to get done anyway.
