Stop in for a cup of coffee

Oh

I would trust a money order. That's not the issue. And if it was a large purchase, no problem. But why would I run out and get one and then have to mail it when I can do it all online with paypal? Especially for small, cheaper stuff, the percentage they take isn't a big deal compared to running around.
No running around, my wife works in the bank and there is no fees as an employee perk.

Up here we use electronic money transfers through e-mail.
Funny, i cant use emt from canada to U.S. but my buddy sends me money when hes away in africa.

So destructive disassembly finally at the half way mark. Just to get this out.

Now to clean gasket surfaces and slam together.

I know there are other transfer methods/apps. Not sure how safe. I know my daughter mentioned that she is using something other than paypal now. As for scams, that's someone else. Doesn't make paypal any less safe. I always go to the home site. Never use a link except from ebay.

I use Pay Pal and often USPS money orders. When I sell, I use both and I can take credit/debit through Square. It all costs something though.

I have a separate account set up just for paypal/online purchases. When i want to buy something, i put money in the account and then buy. Usually has less than 10 bucks in the account. Hacking that account will not be very rewarding..

And it cuts out the impulse buying when you actually have to go to the bank first.

With all the hacking that goes on, I don't know that bank accounts are much safer than any transfer method. Even if you don't use electronic transfer your account IS electronic and can be accessed.:BangHead:

When the ignition is turned on it electrically advances 5.5 degrees when it shuts off it goes back, anti dieseling is what I think it is for, really not a lot of info on them, nos replacements 225 and up.
anti dieseling
That solenoid the one on the carb itself.
The one on the distributor is because emmissions requirements were forcing them to use really retarded timing running at idle.
Click the link above - it will take you right to the page.

So the distributor on the 400 i put in the 59 had a wire, on the truck i pulled it from im pretty much sure it energized with the starter. Was a 73 d100.

Im calling it a day. Went outside and walked into a blizzard. Screw it. Go let the dog in.

That reminds me of a time I was taking care of friend's Malumet (sp?) through a blizzard. Every time we came in, she wanted to go back outside. She would have spent the entire time outside if she could have.
OK. My afternoon coffee is done. I gotta find parts for the jeep. &%#@(/!
oh yea, and put in the last storm window...

Operation retrieve polara failed. Can't get the thing to roll. I think the brakes are seized. Taping the drums with a sledge didn't help. I'm gonna have to remove the drums I think. Dragging it thru the yard with a tractor probably didn't help but I have to have the wheels free rolling to climb the trailer

Bummer..

Also can torsion bars weaken over time? It has hemi torsion bars in it from just suspension. And just suspension over spring shocks under it. According to the barely readable labels.

The two a-bodies i recovered had both rear diffs siezed. Half full of water.

Only diagram I have found is it is in line with the carb solenoid.
