That is soooo true. Much better now - the Crager SS alum center/steel rim, and the ARE Ansen styles are pretty reasonably priced.
Nice when your getting paid celery. Do they cover the hourlies? Last place I worked would often close down early before a holiday by 2 - 4 hours and the boss would add in the time to pay the full shift.

Yep. I hook up my hourly guys with a full 8. I think it would be kinda crappy to hang them out to dry..
