They have moved Dad out of the ER to a regular room. He is still out of it and no telling if he's coming back. Now we watch and wait.
Waiting is the hardest part. I remember it well. With 3 fathers now.

As the older family members pass on, it brings your own mortality into perspective, as you move to the front of the line.
I feel like I have been on the front line most of my life dodging bullets along the way. But now it may not be the bullets that will do me in but my ticker or something. I know my mind already is not as sharp as it used to be.

Mornin people! I had a funny dream this morning. I woke up and realized my vacation was over so I let out a sign and got dressed for work. Grabbed my keys and just about headed out the door when I realized that although it is Monday, it is also CHRISTMAS DAY and we are closed. So I breathed a sigh of relief and went back to bed. Then I woke up for real and I have 5 days of vacation left. YAY!!!! Oh, and they way I know for sure that THIS was not a dream also is the sound of my cat puking like he has done...for...5...days...straight.
give the cat a can of cat food/tuna and see if it stops , worked for my mom's cat, she fed hers cat dry all the time
