It seems like it wouldn't be hard to cast out of resin. Just make a plaster mold of the wooden part and then cast using resin. You could probably use JB Weld to cast it.

JB has a bunch of formulas that are supposed to do plastic, but this one works! First used this stuff to glue a polypropylene filter housing for work that nothing else would work on. Have used on a number of things since with great results.

I thought about that! This fellow already has a prototype printed and the advantage will be he can make little adjustments to better match the original.

I work in the Agriculture chemical/seed/fertilizer business. Job doesn't need me (or anybody else) this time if year! We won't do squat for a few months!
Look up Gray seed farm in Arkansas, he calls on me to drive truck at times to and from fields, my family has been working for him for 30 years.. I know what you mean about nothing to do
