Stop in for a cup of coffee

One service done. Two more to go. Next one owner stripped hex on drain plug.doh!
Third is going to be uneventful.
Then diagnose wheel bearing/abs.
Put a alternator on my son's Malibu last night. $150 piece. We got a used one for $50. What's with all the long fine threaded bolts? Geez, GM worried that the thing will fall apart? There was smoke coming from my ratchet.

Hope all goes well for you. Heed the Dr's instructions. Dry sockets are 10x more painful than the procedure. Back when I got mine out it was a overnight stay in the hospital and they put you completely out.
Thanks.

But the dentist cancelled the procedure as I was in the chair. Long story but a billing screw up between the military and the dentist contractor

Ya, I didn't think I needed one.
I don't like air ratchets. I have two of them and have tried using them various times. They work ok in wide open spaces but the hose always gets in the way inside or under a car, and half the time, the head of the ratchet is too think to get into the areas I need it too

They do. Just cant make them all out. The points are what I really want the rest is gravy, starter rear bearing shield, rear main seals early rb, the ac stuff, starter/generator brushes.

I saved one of these back when I retired. Absolutely the best 1/4" air ratchet on the planet. @memike has one too!

After much fixing of things all SB Mopar, I discovered a tick in my valve train. Pulling the valve covers I discovered that the intake rocker adjuster on #8 had backed off:-( I recently saw a thread of a homemade took to surface the locknut face of the stock rockers. Can anyone post up a link to it, it was a cool way to do it and I am going to have to do it to mine. Also, could use a vendor for the locknuts. Thanks in advance!

That sucks. So ya never got the Demeral? Best part of wisdom teeth . My dentist told me I was in the minority as I only had upper wisdom teeth, lowers never appeared.
No they were seconds away, the needle was in my month when the manager came in and cancelled it

I bought an air swivel. Use it on mt 90 degree die grinder. Its awesome. Will be putting them on the ratchets soon enough.
I use my cordless impact daily, mostly for take apart, it really speeds up jobs.

The Crane rockers had locknuts. You can get replacement adjusters for the factory rockers which will sometimes fix the issue. I have heard of taking a hammer to the threaded end to squish the threads out of round a bit so the adjusters are tight again. Crude but it could work. I remember seeing the post but I have no clue where it might be.

Found it. 273 Rocker Arm modification jig for locking adjusters

I used to love the MAC/IR reactionless air ratchets. I have 3 of them. Just wish they lasted longer. They are all down now. :(
They have right angle impact tools now. They are tough! I used to demo them by removing lug nuts!

Just an aside, sweet when newer staff thinks they can decline an assignment, and they get a harsh comeuppance while get praise, and it was a cakewalk.
