Finaly found a bodyman that i feelt was worth trying to get to do the floor and rockers on my poor Duster,he came by to take a look at things and will give a estimete on the work this week i cant even begin to tell you how excited i am and at the same time worried about if i have enough cash to get the job done.

My buddy does more resto mod trucks with patina. Thet have LS crate engines and 4l60/80e trannys and Ford 8.8 rears. He has Boss do custom interiors and the frames are boxed and the suspension is air ride. Not really a rat rod like your machines 71GSS.

There are lots of ways to build them. That is the fun part. Anything goes as long as you are having fun. My is constantly changing. Started with wood floor and roof, small block chevy, steel wheels, etc. It was something to do to get my son off the gaming and out in the garage. Didn't have much money and did it all ourselves. Wouldn't trade the time for anything. His is much nicer and will have better parts.

How bad is your floor, full replacement or patch? Good luck and hope you can stay in your budget.
