To me, an XJ with straight 6 would be good milage.
Think my '89 Cherokee 4.0 got 17-18mpg around town and 25 on the freeway. That's better than my Yoda 4x4 with the 20R did. I think the Jeep had 3.50 rear end gears compared to 4.11s in the Yoda and the Jeep had the OD auto in it. That 4.0 did run though.

We went out for a steak too with friends. They live in Brazil and were home for the holidays.
Nice meal, but ate to late and they never sits well with me.
Plus putting the dash back in Saturday....thinking to much.
Have to wire in the temp and oil sending units back to the dash. PO had aftermarket crap (machinal units) under the dash.
Buddy who's rebuilt MOPARS for years is helping/doing the wiring says no problems. I have never messed with electrical before but sure it will all work out. Tested the gauges with the Hoppy tester and all were good.
I know this is a simple one just thinking to much....LOL!!

Looking for 1 Dog Dish each of Dodge and Plymouth Division. Does not need to be in perfect condition, just not totally beat up. Please message me with what you have. I may be able to purchase a set if you only want to sell that way.

I was called away yesterday Raymi, I do have a few of these and if I have the one you need I will let you know today, got to pull a pitman arm off the 64 GMC and put a new one on.

Good evening folks. Kind of a rough day here.

The Oral surgeon can’t see me before next Thursday (the other ones were a week after that) and it’s just for the initial evaluation.

Then I went and finalized my Father’s financial holdings. He left me a nice sum of money, but I would give it all to have him back as he was when we had fun together fishing and laughing.

After all that, I created this to help me focus on joy...and find some in my soul.

This picture says it all why I moved to northeast Arkansas

Since they are readily available as Remanufactured engines with 100k mile warranties for between $3-4K, I don’t understand why you don’t just do an engine swap?

Yep, to simple....

Cheapest I’ve been quoted is 6800 for a 3.8 reman thru Jasper Engines. I’m simply weighing options since the hemi swap would actually be cheaper for the complete kit. I’m not sure I want to go that route but I like to explore all options.

working on cup number 3 , good morning everyone.
You are looking at the band for the Christmas party, we had a blast, I have known these musicians for 30 years, my son is 37, I am sure you know Creed by now

Sun will be out all day, high of 48 I believe, new pitman arm will get me started in the shop about 9am, then make a run in town for a free lunch with my friends to lay out our song list for new years eve.. nice day ahead of me today with zero chance of rain.

Nasty blizzard here, roads closed last night visibility was the end of your hood. Had to get out of bed after call from work, the snow had drifted so high a bunch of folks were trapped at work. Fired up my handy dandy large Case front end loader and dug everybody out. Likely spend the day clearing railroad track as we own the spur. Wind was really nasty last night.
