Stop in for a cup of coffee

-
Good morning c\_/ . Woke up to 55 degrees. Clearing, windy, and colder as the day goes by.
Mom and pop lost their 14 yr old poodle yesterday afternoon. Of course they are devastated, especially pop. That little dog has been stuck to him like a wart since day one. All I could offer is "saddened to hear, condolences, testify that the pain goes away as time goes by."
At their age of 80, we'll pray for that time.
Pardon the downer, enjoy your coffee, have a great day.
p.s. @memike, you won't enjoy the dust collecting little groove down the center of that console. Another small detail that ma mopar didn't get right the first time. I'm wondering if DMT offers a argent colored cover like the wood grain pieces. No painting and the groove goes away too.
I am looking at something to do as a custom modified look , going to put a new shifter in it so yes, no telling what this old hillbilly does

It's OK Redfish - no pardons needed. Just been dealt a similar hand I'm more than understanding.

Hey, this is a handy looking little ditty!

While I'm fixing the ignition circuit wires, iI might as well clean up the extra wires and items not being used.
This adjustable timing box can go, along with all of the connections.
It looks like I hardwired the control dial (potentiometer) so I'll have to unwrap and cut that cable. Shouldn't take too long.
Anyone with an MSD 6 series want it, let me know. It's just going to collect dust here.

And looking at mine its an aftermarket repop replacement.

It doesn't look bad. Wonder why its so much cheaper than the other NOS ones??
Found another one that wasn't yellowed for $10 more. Will look nice.
Bought a set of date coded spark plug wires recently.
It's looking more original!! A car like this should be.

We are having what up here is called a ground blizzard. The wind is so strong and there is so much cold dry snow visibility is about the hood of your truck. The snow acts much like the sand was in the desert, landscape ever changing with drifts instead of dunes. It is weird. And it is just under zero for temp. I think Palm Springs looks pretty good from here.

Trust me, don't go visit your homie in Palm Springs in March-May. Sand Blast City. There is a bigass pile of rock next to Palm Springs, Mt San Jacinto, get plenty snow in winter. I just never understood the big attraction to that part of the desert.

Did a service on a saturn, went to town for brekkie, picked up some parts and plowed an acre or three of snow.
Pushed some brush into the fire, its still going strong. Snow will melt and brush should burn all day again. Three days so far.
Time to go get kubota and do some welding.
