Been lucky lately. I noticed one side had the post style and washers so they would not go through the backing plate. Other side these. Looked into it needed these.

64 seems to be a wierd year parts wise. I’m learning that on my polara

Ray I took the headlight bezel's off mine yesterday. Needed to pull the headlights easier to put the new wiring connectors on.
Anyway thought I'd just pull the grille frame off and repaint the argent silver area. Started looking that idea looks like a PNTA.
Thinking I'll just tape and paper that center section really well and paint it.
Is it that hard to pull off?? Read some comments online and don't know if some are just making it harder than it really is??

Not versed on the 67. The 4-6 they unscrew from the back but need to have the grill out to do it. Looks like a mesh plate?

There is a guy up here that has been buying out old closed up garages for 30 years. The stuff he has is amazing. I used to deal with him when i sold parts, had all kinds of obscure chassis stuff.

My friend in NY knows a guy that wont let any one into his stash. Three generations of dodge dealers 1950's up. He was able to get me a few parts but the guy is a PIA and even my friend cant see it and he is a chevy guy! I am just waiting for him to pass and maybe I can get in there during the estate liquidation.

It does I'm not going to mess with it. Just got off the phone with my 67-69 Barracuda buddy, John. He warned me of screw and bolt heads breaking off...etc... Screw that paper/tape and paint the center areas. Tape and paint the corners and its done.
Chrome edges are perfect so not much to do.
Fresh paint always looks nice!!
