Stop in for a cup of coffee

So actual true story on passing weld certs. I had just got done installing a offenhauser full 360 manifold on my faithfully brand X firebird. Me and my welding buddy had went out night before and over indulged. We had to certify next morning to be accepted on road crew. Test was aluminum for hand rail on tanks in KC. We are heading in after no sleep and I did not have throttle linkage quite right. We broke it. As only creative young men can be, I chose to lay across the radiator and hold hood down with elbow and reach under and operate throttle with my hand while buddy drove. Needless to say we got pulled over! Hah! Had to make a field expedient repair as cop was not amused having a guy lay under hood and run throttle. We made it a bit late to our booths but both passed!

Alcohol ?? by Volume. My favorite Portugee. :D Could be the last remaining bottle.

Just opposite here. Welding class when I was an apprentice. Could not get the hang of running 7018 uphill. Class on Saturday, night before I go out and get hammered. Go to class with major hangover, shakin' like a poodle poopin' peach seeds. Into the booth I go. Instructor comes in to look at my samples, "I don't know what you changed, but keep doing it. Looks great".
Key: speed in the center, stall on the edges!

U KNOW DAT BRAH !!!
When I worked at the Auto Upholstery shop on Oahu, the old Fillipino woman who did the sewing used to call across the lot when my sewing was done and ready for install.

She would yell “Hey, Kawika...Haole Boy! Come, come!”

Always made me smile.

LMAO, you sure we aren't related? I am from the South you know, so family tree is kind of low and wide not real tall! Wife is a potter so we don't have any two plates bowls or cups that match. But here is our dinner, Elk haunch which she actually shot and some baguette bread I am going to bake as garlic bread. Yep I do most of the cooking!

Ugh! The heater in the garage is losing the battle with the cold and wind. Started at 60* earlier today and it’s down to 52* now.

I really need to get another electrical circuit run into the garage for next Winter so I can plug in a second heater.

I’m using a 1500w oil filled radiator style heater. I have another one of them and two would roast the space. But I need another circuit to run it. Damned builder only put in one outlet.
