I can find the eddy brand valves, just exploring other options. Length is a tough one, seems that the RPM heads need a 4.908 over length

That must be the 1/2"-drive version then. Here is the 3/8"-drive version, from Halifax Homemade Tool Co.

Hoppy is a generally torque-free guy who makes fun of me for torqueing everything. I just continue on, saying "Every bolt has a torque."

Open end??? Why not box end to help keep from rounding the corners on the bolt hex????

Day is done. Finished my 2nd brake job today.
Go to house, let dog in and relax for a couple hours. Then off to jam night, a few local artists are playing at a fund raiser.food is supposed to be decent. I hope.
One musician is a friend,i enjoy watching him play.

Why is the spec for setting the steering box tension in tenths of an inch-pound? Who in the world makes a 10ths-inch-pound torque wrench?

If you have digital electric motors, you can read to the tenth of a torque spec... :realcrazy:

Speaking of torque wrenches, my S-K 3/8 drive showed up today. Shipping cost more than the repair.
Nothing here to check it on. Was a little weird it was not fully backed off.
Also a spare 12SI alternator came in. AC Delco, reman in Mexico. At least GM has their name all over it.
Unlike Delco-Remy which was sold to private investors several years ago.

Cheers everyone

Speaking of info any one have any on this one?

Hi-I am currently working on a 1972 Demon 340 Mr Norms GSS Supercharged.I have read in various magazine article and dealer ads that Mr Norm had "recurved" the distributor on these cars

From what I understand , it was more adding 5° adavanced timing is all. The supercharged cars may be different, but that is what I have been told about mine from Dad who talked with the Techs when he bought my car.

Those 906 heads I got you were sweet...
Yeah they are. I’m gonna build them out I think. I may sell my poly intake one day and do an el cheapie budget 440 build for the polara one day. But for now, I’m leaving it as is
