Stop in for a cup of coffee

Just came back. Ken with the Mustang has a really funky noise coming from the top front of the 302. Hard to explain, almost like a rocker hitting the VC, but not that. Borescope no seats fell out, compression check was great. Hope like hell it is not a rod or wrist pin. He has around 4K in this motor he bought and rebuilt. He got screwed on the core, needed almost everything. 302 SB it was supposed to be. Had a 289 crank and pistons in it, two cracked heads etc etc. Noticed the harmonic balancer is not lining up to the pointer, neither of us know if a 289 and a 302 take the same one and is balanced the same. Top it off the rods are different, they were looked at by the machine shop for straightness, but are they 302 or 289. Feel bad for him. But WTF is going on? No shavings in the filter....yet. Strange one. Did meet up with the guy from NY on the caps. Remembered I used to be a asshole when I lived there also. Fun Fun Fun

Or timing gear loose? Pull belt and stethescope it.

There's a company here that advertises on the radio that they will shred your documents and give you a certificate...

I think its like for your personal paperwork with SS#, financial info or other info you don't want to put in the trash and share with your nosey neighbors. The certificate is for when someone comes up with a paper they say they shredded, so you can sue them. :rolleyes: My wife thinks everything needs to be shredded. Piles up lots of papers and never gets rid of them. :BangHead:
 
Got nice here after the morning rain cleared out. Got the Duster washed and waxed plus a few paint touch ups. I even got some mowing done. Still sunny, but temps dropping now. 30s tonight

The heater core car is gone. Hope i dont see that one for a while. Good paycheque though.
 
Thinking I may need to go to the doctor. About an hour ago, blood starting running from my nose and I can barely hear. Got really dizzy and nearly passed out. Feel normal now though. Wierd

Yeah, go see a Doc....or maybe you could just wait it out and see if it will get worse. :rolleyes:

Unless you have a history of nose bleeds and hearing problems.... you probably should be getting a cat scan right about now
 
Well I am finally home sipping a very strong toddy. It has been a long three days, well over thirty hours of instruction via a NRA training counsler. They are the only ones that can train instructors. Guy came up from Texas. Folks drove many hours to attend his courses. Holy crap my mind is mush! Picked up some instructor tabs, and the culmination of the weekend was a Chief Range Safety Officer tab. Total PITA to get but I got it. I got no energy to back read all the pages you guys tossed up this weekend. Holy smokes I got nothing! Some serious intense training. Back to car next week.
