Stop in for a cup of coffee

So, I want to get the AC charged up in the Duster. It worked when I got it, but lost the charge in the course of moving things around to paint engine bay and under dash. It has never been wide open.
Just fittings came loose.
Last I checked it had very slight pressure if I push fitting, but that was a while ago. Certainly not enough there to worry about recovery. I am keeping it R-12. At minimum, I plan to pull vacuum and see if it holds. Do I need to change the dryer and/or any particular seals if not leaking?

Thank you Mike, He has terminal cancer, I am going to go buy a bed for him tomorrow, I am his only family and it's all up to me again, he is staying with me , spent all day seeing three doctors Tuesday, Pete slept most of the day yesterday, so you all understand I am very busy taking care of my brother, sighed him up for ssi yesterday...... If it's not leaking, then no need to change the seals...

But if it is leaking, change the seals...

Trees are getting a beating the last two years that Asian Ash borer? Is killing a lot of them. Hell I have a bunch here to cut down even a blue spruce!

We got hit with the emerald ash bore here a while back and I lost 6 ash trees... (Not six ash trays....)

Truck is gassed up, pocket full of cash, 2 less reasons not to go to the drags at Famoso. Have to make the obligatory trip to the Elks Rodeo tonight. Must support those guys, they do a lot of work within the community.

Hey guys. Well, Mayo didn't tell us what we wanted to hear. I need open heart surgery to fix my mitral valve and they will do a bypass or two as needed while they're in there. :BangHead::BangHead:

Good luck, hope they get everything fixed while they are in there....

Dang. I might not be able to make the trip north today. I finally got to sleep at midnight and woke up at 3 and have been on the throne ever since. (Tmi I know) I'll have to see what today brings.

How high on this chart did you hit????

Ring the bell and win a prize...

Craig I am going to attempt to get out of town around noon I'm out running some errands picking up some ice mailing off some bills and then I'll stop and get the car and top off the gas check the oil and get on the road I hope to see you guys late this afternoon.

I get a block of dry ice to throw in the cooler with regular ice when I go for weekend meets... The dry ice with the regular ice will keep the cooler good all weekend, just add more ice as the regular ice melts and you make more room from drinking some of the beverages... I wrap the dry ice in aluminum foil also to help insulate it to make it last longer... :D

Caution: the stuff on the bottom of the cooler will be frozen in ice the first day or two from the dry ice freezing the melted ice... Save the cans in the bottom of the cooler for Sunday when the ice is mostly melted away... Trying to chip them out of the re-frozen ice is risky to puncture them.... :BangHead:
