Well, that’s just great. Turns out that about 1/3 of the solar lights around the deck and patio are no longer holding a charge. Add to that the the supposedly stainless steel mounting screws are just plain steel and are rusting away.
Just what I need, another project.
Oh well, I ordered the new rechargeable batteries for the lights and will replace all the screws with either aluminum or SS when I change the batteries.
Not terribly difficult, just time consuming and time is one thing I have precious little of these days.

I have had more work done by a shop on my vehicle than I would ever had if I had two things these days. Time and a garage. How many lights are we talking?

And as of last night, mosquitoes are out in full force.

Sad, very sad. In my previous line of work I saw first hand what meth and coke did to a person and the family suffering it caused.

I can tell you from personal experience that that stuff can really mess with the head! It’s only by God’s amazing grace that I was able to get off that crap! Praying for that family.

Not as of yet. About the only thing I can do (as far as I know) without pulling the engine, tearing it down and sending it out to have the lifter bores checked is to go ahead and replace the cam and lifters. Then put some miles on it and recheck it. Probably do that in a few weeks. Got a lot on the calendar this month. I did put a fresh set of lifters in it. May put a few miles on it before I do the cam. There was only one lifter not spinning. Should be able to tell if it’s still not spinning. Not holding my breath!
Truck is still kicking my ***, ran new wirers and now the fuel pump took a crap! Really pissing me off.
