I hear you! At the same time Dave was having the stone work done I was putting a gravel border around my pumphouse and I laid out a few stones at the threshold...….NOT the same but it works LOL!

Neuro doc looked at MRI and said no surgery.She will have to wear a brace/splint for at least a couple months Can take it off to shower and sleep(flat on her back). They will likely discharge her tomorrow and Mae will bring her home
The way i look at it,Dad passed at 53,so im either on borrowed time or got mom’s longevity genes. She’s 84.

Same here, I been livin large for 6 years now..........Livin like there aint no tomorrow.....Dad died at age 56.....

I think I'm on Tike's timeline. Grand dad, dad and me could be triplets if you see pics of us at the same age (yes; they were both incredibly good looking men). Grand dad died at 78. Dad died 2 yrs ago at 78. I figure that gives me 23 years.. I'm betting i can do a lot of cool stuff in 23 years. Now where is that bucket list?

I never used to understand it when a guy would respond to "how are you doing" with, "well, I am upright" or something like that. I get it now.

Ouch. Accidents happen. Again, glad both seem to be fairly ok. That pic scares me even and my kids weren’t in that thing. Hopefully your daughter will heal up soon. She’ll be nice and sore for a while I’m sure.

Another tower crane bit the dust today. That makes 2 in the last month. I was always kinda leery of those things. The operator I oiled for when I was a kid used to say "You're not a real crane operator unless you've tipped a rig over." I'm not a real crane operator and quite pleased with that 
. That was also the same operator that used to say "Step back from the rig Alex. This is gonna get hairy. Let me know when the outriggers are a foot off the ground."
