LOl It is. On these computer controlled cars, only way to find vacuum leaks, and they cause all kinds of issues.

I actually did that looking for vacuum leaks on the Bag House/GIANT vacuum cleaner on the asphalt plant. The guy that was assisting me looked at me like I was nutz when I started waving that stick around the seams waiting for the smoke to vanish

Well checking and a phone call to my Barracuda buddy the rear shocks I need are Gabriel 81469.
Surprise, Gabriel still makes them, $17.99 through Summit Racing.
That was easy!!

Is color correct? They look red......the original shocks on my 66 are blue...

I thought the same but application chart shows they are indeed a match.
Maybe a match for function and fit but not for a quality Restoration part that your car needs....they could be painted any color you need....

I don't know. I'm checking again with him to confirm the color.

One time I found a vacuum leak right where the intake manifold meets the head on a 360. The gasket was tore and blew out a little. 2 local shops couldn't figure it out so the truck sat for a year before I decided to wrestle with it and found it!!!

Goodafternoon!
Had a 80’s dodge, new dist, rebuilt carb, rebuilt heads, still wouldnt run right. Boss was screwing around with it for hours, dead of winter, shitty exhaust and doors closed.
I thought i was going to die from the exhaust fumes. I waited until he left shop, pulled egr and blocked it. It purred like a kitten.
He wouldnt let me do it before, claiming that couldnt be the problem.
That carbon monoxide poisoning still haunts me to this day,16 years later.
