Rain all day today and tonight too. Glad I went for a cruise yesterday instead of waiting for today.

The wind already beginning to pickup here. Another 30-40mph gust day.

So its official! Flathead runs nice. Rigged up a gravity lawnmower tank,primed it a little and it fired right off!
Running well enough i took my hand off the throttle and it stays running without horrible noises. then i noticed the oil filter spewing oil. So i will proceed with removing it like i planned.
i'm thrilled!

You bet. Fires up easy now.
One leaking expansion plug,and as it warmed up the seal in water pump let go. So i ordered a new one, rockauto.com has.

Mike, that is true, but we also have a full garage, and I have not gotten any go ahead for a sand blasting cabinet from my wife. Not sure if my compressor is big enough for it either.

Just checked, and the small handheld sandblaster at harbor freight needs 7 gallons a minute at 90 psi, while my compressor just delivers 5.5 gallons.

We went to The House on the Rock in Wisconsin a couple months ago. They have a whole building with doll houses on display. Wonder if I took a picture or two. Cool stuff!

I was there in 2004. Nice place. That infinity room, well, I was out a bit but then I turned and went back. Scared of heights.
