I know I loved living in Guatemala. 60's-70's most of the year in the Capitol. A hot day was mid 80's and you got like 2 or 3 per year and about the same amount for the 40 degree days.
If I had built on the properties outside the Capitol it was 10 degrees cooler and 6200-6500 feet above sea level.
About 1000' higher than Guatemala City.
