Stop in for a cup of coffee

Try UPS flat rate. They just started it in August and so far, it’s the cheapest. Basically up to 50 pounds has set rates. I shipped hemi heads for less than 30 each
Their flat rate box was over stuffed. I didn't want to take the chance that hey would destroy a perfectly good intake so I stuffed it in a USPS flat rate box and re-boxed it in a bigger one.

Got a couple estimates to send a LD4B out. USPS and FedX. FedX was cheaper by a few bucks. I have had good luck with them anyway. Still $40. Shipping isn't cheap now days.

Mike, here is a flat rate box that you can ship them in... You can get it there for around $25 with tracking, insurance, and signature...

Click this link and go to the bottom of the page to the large flat rate game board box 11 7/8" x 3 1/4" x 24 1/16...

You can order them in single or a bundle of up to 25 for free to be delivered to your house if your PO doesn't carry them... I've shipped many intakes in them...

Working on signal switch for Fargo. Need to go on a tour and find a 3 pin flasher.

I let the trunk weatherstrip sit overnight. Put the lock cyl, and latch on the lid. Closed it down to compress the new weatherstrip. Will need to adjust the lid down more as time goes. Layed the rear section of carpet in the car. Don't look too bad. Need to cut holes for the console brackets. Gonna work on the quarter regulators. Pretty sure all four window bolts will break. AND...they are in the aluminum window holder, So break out the drill and see if I can just drill the bolts out without Fubaring the aluminum...

Progress

All i managed was test the old 602 turn signal switch and figure out a way to mount it. the bracket was gone. So a small step forward.

Howdy all. Couldnt make it passed 2pm on the sleep. I will get about 3 days of time in on nights before it's time to switch again.

Packed up for Cowboy shoot tomorrow. I will have to pace myself on aiming fluid as BD is coming to town tomorrow late afternoon. I got some 9 year Bourbon with his name on it! I see some dehydration in my future. My only solace is knowing he is going to TMMs on Sunday and I know how that will turn out! Hah!

Been there. Not exactly the same but close enough. They say its not easy. Ever. Take your time.
Well I got one bracket drilled out. Two broken bolts, took two hours. I got lucky and was able to drill center of the steel bolts, in the aluminum. Was able to tap them back to the original 1/4x28 thread. I'll tackle the other one tomorrow....:mob:

I'll be easy on him. We have a few to sample but just store bought stuff. I might have scored a Driftless Glen Rye barrel pick if it comes back to town in time. Sipping on some Legendary Rye as we speak. WTF it's 5:00 somewhere! (old photo with almost empty bottle LMAO)
