Got my door opener up in the air in the little bit of time I had before work. . Think it might need position adjusted a little yet. At this rate it might be done in a week.

Did a little road trip to the neighboring village to take care of my union dues. 15' breakers at times and the Santa Anas were a blowin'. Not so much here. Almost got to 80° and it already back in the 60s.
Wal Mart of course. I had a black dude get in my face today. He thought I got too close to him with my cart and accused me of trying to run him over. No dude, If I was to run you over it would be with a truck! An old lady told me after I went down the next aisle that that's why she "hates this store". I should get a carry permit if this keeps up. LOL
Without going politics, the way this country is going , you are going to need it

Got a story. best friends father in law bought the mrs a garage door opener for christmas. Mil wants to park in garage for winter. Old fart (thats his name, even has a shirt)! Asks for help to make room in the double garage for the caravan. There wasnt enough room for a pack of smokes, nevermind a caravan. During the cleaning: organizing, i spy the garage door opener in the corner and ask about it. He explains it was a gift, and never got around to it (mil needs to hose down the couch).
So i drag it out and proceed to install it. He has a tantrum, and goes in the house. Mad.
Buddy and i finish cleaning garage, get opener installed and working. Mil is thrilled! Old fart is grumpy,after all he only bougt the gift a couple years ago, and its the thought that counts, right?
After a few times using the opener, he sort of admitted his shortfall in not so many words.
im glad i helped them out, it made both their lives easier and its fun poking at the master of procrastination.
im in no way inferring anything, but sometimes things arent as easy for some as they are for others.
i have probably hung 20 of them by now, for friends and family.

Watching some McCulloch parts on Flea Bay, ending in 40 min, $40 plus $29 for the ride. I'd get quite a few more parts than I need for same price as just the recoil starter, we'll see what happens.
