Hey, it's still 2020. Anything can happen.

Hey any one know the size of a SB freezout plug? There is a good deal on some block heaters, truck can use one.

If i had to do the block heater thing again, i would consider the glue on oil pan heater. Less watts and warm oil.

I like the block heaters that go in the lower radiator hose...

I like heating the coolant over the oil because there is more coolant in the engine than oil and it gets the engine warmer...

When I plugged it in over night, then unplug it in the morning, star the car and brush off the snow and the heat is already coming when I'm done cleaning the windows....

However: Don't leave the heaters plugged in over night... I ran my electric bill up over $1000 for two and a half months doing that in Detroit once...

Just put it on a timer and activate it about 1 1/2 - 2 hours before you plan to leave and it works just as well without running up the electric bill...

Well the only good thing about a mask is it keeps your nose warm! And keeps the covid snow out also.
I left mine on till my truck warmed up yesterday. And when you burp in your mask you can enjoy lunch all over again. LOL

Hell yes/ I just found a bag of early PCV valves I totally forgot about. Tons of other stuff also. Hell there are totes in the loft I have not opened in a long time. I definately need more shelving up there. I have to fugure out where to Put @Mopar Tim s transmission. What ya think?

Did that with my last diesel tool truck. Timer came on at 5 am. Ready to rock at 7:30.

Would have been cheaper to let the car run..

Not in Detroit, it would have been stolen.... :mob:

My ex's parents only lived two blocks from us... One day she left her minivan in the drive warming up with the dog in it... They stole the minivan with the dog...

The dog showed up at the pound a couple of days later....

They never found the minivan.... :steering:
