Stop in for a cup of coffee

Was going to go out and do the driveway, but it was sleeting. Don't want to clear while that is coming downor it becomes the new base layer for the next round with the snow blower. Suposed to change back to all snow soon.

It was sleeting...

Hail no.... :D

Got lower cabinets done. Needs doors and two drawers

Sleeting? I will have to check

Probably not where you are. The south east side of the storm changed over for a while. Sposed to change back soon. I ran the blower down the side of the driveway and cleared the entrance where it was a lot deeper from the plows. I would say about 6in of snow so far. We won't get near the high numbers they called for since we got this sleet.

I'm a gonna kill somebody...I got an Email this morning, all inbound international flights into Saigon are cancelled for the foreseeable future . So my flights have been canceled by the carrier. :wtf::mob::wtf:..F'it Im booking a flight to Seoul South Korea now. At least will be closer to VN, and maybe can fly there from Korea in a few weeks....

boat??

We have 6” of snow topped with an inch of sleet and a thick layer of ice plus 40-50 mph winds...and it’s not over yet.

Good thing I don't need to go anywhere until next Wednesday.

Yuck.

Where is Hoppy's Daffy Duck

I feel so unwholesome now. I went to a guy's house I know through my friends, friends cat.

So I get there and I see a few 80s cameros, an old Chevy dump truck, a few square body Chevy pickups, a pair of 60s ? Malibus, a Chevy citation and a chevette.

I go in the engine shed with the guy and I see a bunch of engines that I don't recognize, he points at each one and says what they are, Pontiac, Buick this and that, Chevy 4 million or something.

In the corner was a sight for my sore eyes, a low deck mopar, which I immediately identify as a 68 383. He chuckles at how fast I tell him what it is and show him where the numbers are.

So as soon as the snow melts, he's going to dig it out and I'm going to free it from that hell hole.

Didn't you once say "if cars could speak"? Think that one might have some complaining to do! Good on ya!

Okay, they're as rare as hens teeth so even tho I'm a long ways from needing them, don't sell the 340 mounts again, don't sell the 340 mounts again. I'm sending pics to the seller who isn't sure if he has 340 mounts even though he advertised them...

Okay, this may sound weird, but cars do speak. Cars, at least the older ones where they were built by massive assembly lines of people, do. See while all a car really is is a combination of nuts, bolts, welded metal, plastics and wires, they have a soul. The soul of a car is made up by all those who dreamed her, designed her, built her and drove her. That soul speaks. If you take the time and quiet to let it. Just as all things in nature do if you let them.

no new car will ever have that same feel. Robots do too much of the process to have that same feel anymore.

I would be surprised they let you in to wait.

I didn't even attempt it. We took his bran new chebbie Z71. I drove home, pretty comfy for a 4x4. He got his welding done on his pump and is doing just fine. The anesthetic was just about to flee the scene when we arrived at his house, might be a little painful by now.
