My floorjacks did that! It's propped up on 2x's now. Just need to cut it into pieces I can handle now. The top half looks straight and should split ez for firewood. The rest will get busted up and tossed under the neighbors pine trees LOL

Cheryl came outside yesterday and asked what I had left to do...really I just replied a lot. I still haven't unpacked the detached garage yet.
My buddy John comes in later this week and we'll set the cabinets I saved from the old kitchen and get things put in order.
We'll also make time to do some work on the Barracuda.

Tell John hello for me, I could listen to him talk all day. He has forgotten more about Mopars then I will ever know. Not often you find a guy that savvy academically and at same time can do anything he wants to a car with his own hands. Just a talented guy.

The Germans were definitely meticulous records keepers... still are. That's amazing documentation. Interesting that the hull had a mine-deterrent design if it was following the tanks for reloads. Did the record state which Panzer Division it supported?

I was looking into things, they also used a similarly equipped model as a minesweeper ahead of infantry units, so I’m wondering if that’s why the heavy armored bottom. The angle I think is more for water flow out of the thing, as there are drains at the rear and it does have a slight slope towards the rear as well.

I just got done reading the thread on electric vehicles (ev) man o man it was a long thread but I gotta tell ya I learned a bunch. There is some of the normal side bar sniping at each other with a couple of posters but overall the thread has a wealth of info on a topic I knew very little about. Cool read actually.

While I am certainly not a fan of EVs I am also old enough to recognize change is in the air. I remember when guys started bringing lasers on the job site for stuff as simple as plumbing or dry wall. I thought to myself that is ridiculous, as I pulled my plumb bob and level out of my box. Now I use a laser for all kinds of stuff including the geometry to set up the Demon subframe supports for installing the Hemi in it. Like most any tool at first you are apprehensive but as you use it more and more you find an ever widening spectrum of applications for it. How many young tradesmen today have ever even used a plumb bob? Do I want a EV heck no, but they are coming.

I have enough blocks around to do one of those. Just set em up in a ring. And always plenty of firewood out there. Haven't done one in a while especially since working 2nd shift.... Actually I could manage all of it in the stove, just not worth the effort. Kinda like some of the junk I've been hangin on to and might re-purpose and use someday. Trying to just get stuff done, simplified and move on

Sadly you are right. but I’m hoping gas is still produced in my life time
