Stop in for a cup of coffee

Inline is located bout 2 miles from my shop.. maybe i'll see what they have, i just kept reading stories bout people buying pre-bent and nothing fitting

The 64 I have inline pre bent. Seem to fit great. SO FAR
Probably is fine.
With the fuel lines, there would be a gap going ender the frame rail or not line up with the clip, or the first set - I think from Fine Lines, the bends were all squished.

Mike check what size lines you need some have a bit of 3/16 mixed in on dual master, think for the calipers.

Seems like when the guys cheap out on the pre bent that is when there are issues with them I believe. And wheelbase length. Like the pop is 110" not 108" like a reg dart.

1. Fine lines's had flat cross sections in the bends. They had no interest in the details so I just sent it back. No point in using 3/8 line if the tubing cross section is reduced.
2. Classic Tube didn't fit right. I think there was a change between 67 and 68 or 69 in the routing and clip locations.
3. Inline Tube was pretty much OK.

When I needed a replacement brake line on the rear axle, I went with Inline. I don't recall any issues. I forget what failed but nothing on the road. Failures usually occur when removing a wheel cylinder or other disassembly.

Check out Van's Auto. Friend of mine, I got my fuel lines from them. Unsure on what they have at the moment.

And really do yourself a favor and don't go stainless steel. A lot of guys have issues getting the flared fittings to seal.

Pic doesn’t do justice. No snow yesterday while I cleaned up the yard. Wind is picking up

I'll say this truck was a true rust bucket. It had holes through the bed and I spliced in sections of fuel line that were starting to go. Just compression fittings.
Brakes worked fine, although I got concerned enough to have them let me bring it to a mechanic to have new shoes put on. ( Pulling the rear drums was not something I could do after hours there, etc)

There's a trade off for sure. They do seem more difficult to seal. OTH they are more resistant to rust and if thats a big concern...

BTW, you guys that have done manual disc conversions, all the kits seem to be the same basic thing.. later b-body spindle/disc/calipers.. Is there anything i should look for or anyone know of a better deal to go with?

Hell go down the road and talk to inline. I like thiers actually

I'm ok. Been having lots of headaches, but it's my own damn fault. I kinda got hooked on soft drinks again and now I've broken the curse, but I gotta pay for it a little while.
Ehhhh... Just drink beer. Helps you sleep. And if you had a headache and drink some beer usually it goes away. Lol
