Stop in for a cup of coffee

Almost all alternators in the '60s and '70s and even into the '80s used the MNJ471S Torrington/needle bearing in the rear of the alternator. That looks to be the tool to remove and install it properly

You said tool in the rear...

Mine’s right side nerve. I guess just a matter of which way the disk bulge goes. Mentioned cleaning out some buildup from arthritis. Between the two There was no space for the nerve

I have a bone joint stimulator from my mom when she had a few discs fused together...

She only used it a couple of times after her surgery, if you need one let me know, I would love to get rid of it...

Well a major f-up and setback for the day. Big boots plowing snow, pressed brake and gas at same time and backed into the front wall of my small garage/office. Been swinging sledge-o-matic for about 10 minutes and its tough going. I needed a break.
At least i got my wireless remote to work on plow as well as winch.

Earl Scheib and Maaco were the discount car painters back in the day...
I worked at a Maaco doing bodywork when I was young. Car lots would bring in rusted out trucks and we were told to fill in the rusted out panels with aluminum tape and bondo. F*&k that I made my own metal repair panels and welded them in. Couldn't make a living doing it that way but I have some pride in my work.

This diet sucks.

Breakfast: 8 ounces of skim milk with 2 scoops of protein powder
Lunch: 8 ounces of skim milk with 2 scoops protein powder
Dinner: 290 calorie lean tv dinner.

I can have 1/3 cup cottage cheese as a snack once a day.

It’s less than 800 calories total.

For the next month

:wtf:

It was hit-or-miss with them... Once in a while you would get a good guy, but usually not...

It was the stepping stone for beginners to move on to a better shop after getting some experience...

Well, that's twice in 2 days that scammers are trying to get me...

Yesterday they posed as tollway and I had unpaid violations... (I have an iPass and it has positive balance...)

Then today a call posing to be electric company coming out to shut me off in 20 minutes...

I didn't fall for it and reported them... :icon_fU:

But I did feign concern and played along to try to pry some of their information and waste some of their time...

I feel like an old rotor I keep getting shocked from static electricity. It's making my hair stand up and I got the humidifier going.
:BangHead: :BangHead: :BangHead: :BangHead:
Do you have a humidity gauge inside? I bet you are at 15% or below. 30-50% is my comfort zone but it's hard to get there with a humidifier. I remember Mom always having a bog pot of water simmering on the stove.

Pre-surgery diet. 2 weeks of this, surgery Then I’m on nothing but smoothies and water for the next 4 weeks after that. Limited diet from weeks 4-12, normal diet minus fried foods till 6 months post op.

Doc says expect to lose 20-50 pounds.
What are you having done?

Yea just put a pot of water boiling on the stove. I have no gauge in the house and I should get one.

No doubt. If you live thru it.

No Bet @Mattax would know.
Looks like the bearing adapters like TJ wrote.
Use it with a press.
At one time I was trying to figure out what is used for what but that was over a year ago.
Some of the FSM show that tool or one like it in use.
