Stop in for a cup of coffee

Morning!
-27, and a high of -10. Warm enough to run tractor and drag Lincoln out. Have to reconnect steering, and add air to tires. Clean up shop, then look at buddy’s car to diagnose a power steering leak. Then drag Mustang back in.

It's the kids sitting there Parents can do what they want. Parents don't have anything to do with it
Unless they give kids computers, it assumes every kid has there own and has internet.. Some schools issue them. My daughter teaches in a tier 1 school that does not do this because many of the kids are that poor to not have access.

Yeah 12s is a long shift. I did that at an aluminum wire processing plant years ago. Made lots of dough, though and I got to stay the hell away from my first wife. What a *****.

They have a spray for that now...

I understand that and agree. I was responding to Chris because I misunderstood his comments as to complaining because his kids would be on the computer all day. That's why I said he doesn't need to do anything the kid is the one sitting there.

Yes/no. Still gotta supervise and work ourselves. Wouldn’t be bad but three people on Google meetings all day will be a challenge with this internet

I don’t mind the computer all day. It’s the logistics behind 3 people all needing the computer at the same time.

Ordered some Chassis Saver paint for the bottom side of the Duster. Email note said it required a signature???? WTF-is this so my kids don’t sniff the fumes?????! The UPS guy just dropped it off on the porch so maybe no signature was needed after all!

Especially if they are young and not fully functional on a computer.

Our kids started using computers when they were in preschool...

My oldest son was the designated "computer teacher" at his Montessouri school to teach the kids how to use it... He would show them, type this, and then press this big button (enter)... He was able to explain it better to kids in terms that they understood and could get through to them better than the teachers...

Or because of gang graffiti...

Than or then?

"Than" is used to compare things, while "then" is used to indicate time or sequence.
Than
  • Used to compare two things or people

  • For example, "cats are smarter than dogs"

  • Usually functions as a conjunction, but can also be a preposition

  • A helpful trick is to associate "than" with comparisons because both words contain the letter "a"
Then

  • Used to indicate time, sequence, or what happens next

    • For example, "I went to the store, then I went home"
    • Often used as an adverb, but can also be used as a noun or adjective
    • Used in if-then constructions, such as "If I drink too much orange juice, then I won't have room for a bagel"

Damn that looks good. I’m stuck on a protein shake and applesauce diet for 12 weeks. But hey I’m down from 291 to 268 in 14 days. At this rate, I should be down to 225-230 by the time I can eat again

Wow, you started where I am...

I'm trying to get down to where you are... And then a little more... I need to get to 230 to be eligible for a double lung transplant...

I always thought that all distilled spirits here in Iowa are supposed to go through the state owned warehouse so they cam control the taxes and mark it up. :BangHead: :BangHead: I order from quite a few different places that also sell wine so that may be a sidestep. I got these from Seelbach's and they are out Maryland I believe.
I get a lot from California. Bottles that can't be sent directly to Iowa, the distilleries send inventory to places in California and the bottles get sent out like it is wine which is ok here.

Don't order from Chicago, C(r)ook county has extra taxes on liquor... There will be a label on top of the cap of the bottle so signify that you paid the cook county liquor tax...

They also tax; cigarettes, gas, and sugar drinks (and I say sugar drinks loosely)... They love their 'sin taxes'...
