Stop in for a cup of coffee

Morning!
-7 with a 60 mph wind. Nice! All that snow from yesterday should be in Toronto by sunrise.
Got a message from the body shop, he has sandpaper for me. He sold the business, and has to clean up. That’s like 50 years of junk accumulation.
So im getting all the old stuff for free, all the new at $.50 a sheet. I know several people that need so i should be able to distribute some of it.

Sweet deal on the sandpaper etc., don't let it blow away lol!

Oh, found a pair of front fenders for the Avalanche, so a road trip today. I may put it off until tomorrow or sunday.

Just a quick drive by, I am in the middle of another instructors block this week so no time to myself. Getting folks squared away to become conceal carry instructors. Next week I get to leave pistols behind and focus back on rifles! Going up to Missouri to teach a Rifle Instructors block. Way more fun than pistol!
Taking the wife to quick draw today. With the crap about to hit the fan locally due to family drama, figured it’s time.

Quick Draw?

Quick Draw?
It’s the name of the course put on by one of my buddies in the Guard. He’s a former firearms instructor for the Indiana Law Enforcement academy and currently operates his own business with area departments for retraining.

Basically it teaches how to draw a holstered weapon under stress or danger conditions. How to safely draw shoot and clear afterwards. Etc

There’s some drama on her side now that’s going to be made a lot worse when notices from the court get delivered today. Her side, while typically less overall drama, has become rather unstable. She’s concerned enough to finally take this course. I took it years ago so she should learn a lot. She’s a heck of a natural shot, better than me with a rifle, but that’s off a bench rest.
