Stop in for a cup of coffee

It's warming up here :D 39°F out there now
41.5° on my thermometer.  I think it's nap time. I have been running out of energy lately. (more than usual) I think the antibiotics have killed off all the bacteria in my gut and I am not getting much out of the food I eat. Speaking of which, I better take my second pill. :BangHead:

The crazy flip phone adventure yesterday, after digging through the settings on the phone to get the time right. Well last night the MoFoCo decided it was time for DST and advanced :wtf: :BangHead::lol:

Good morning everyone. Man am I sore. Between working all day Sat and much of yesterday on the Charger, i decided to save money and look into my truck vs the shop. Found only 2 of the 8 glow plugs function. So, i tore into it. Got them changed but saw the harness/gasket is junk. 1 year old. The wires insulation is cracked everywhere! So, now i have to order those.
I would check to see if the computer shuts off the plugs after it starts. Sounds like the wiring is overheating. That's what happened to my skid steer.

We have a real Speedway again :D

The glow plug harness was fried on my tool truck. Nothing a spool of 10 gauge wire and a hand full of connectors didn't fix. I found a separate wire for each worked. I burned up my first harness attempt by sharing connectors. :BangHead: :BangHead:

Thanks. The wiring is perfect and Ohm checks good. No sign of heat. Cheap China ****. Insulation is cracked. Subpar wiring for hot oily environment. The zip ties were brittle and all broke as soon as i touched them. The glow plugs were knockoffs sold as true Motorcraft parts. New ones from reputable business have ford part number on them. New wire harness is Ford from same place.

Believe IT IOR NOT THE TWO DIFFERENT COLOR ZIP TIES HAVE DIFFERENT POURPOSES. The WHITE ARE HARDER, Uva RESISTANT DRAW BACK THEY WILL CUT INTO WIRING. The BLACK ARE MORE FLEXABLE NON Uva USED IN NON LIGHT HIGHER HEAT ENVIRONMENTS. Aircraft rules there. Wiring today is soy based insulation sucks buy the real stuff from say Rhode Island wiring or Brillmans.

Hmmm.... Actually Black are pretty much better in every way except price. They are considered 'outdoor' because they are better in UV, heat etc. White will get brittle much quicker.

Just got back from dropping Ramcharger off for adding shims for castor and alignment if necessary. Cancelled having them look at headlights, read up on them, ordering kit (lazy man kit w harness to fit).
Also upgrading turn signal-brake, park, reverse lights to "safely brighter" bulbs. This kit adds relays so everything isn't going through the headlight switch which did drop the voltage considerably

I am hustling up and finishing anything that requires two good arms in preparation for surgery and the extended rehab. While it is spooky I will be glad to have it behind me. All new titanium shoulder! Woo Hoo!
You'll be a hit at the airport! Seriously tho, good luck with surgery and a speedy recovery, well a full on schedule one anyway!

Off to the grocery stores and a dentist clean and check @2. Be good while I'm gone!
