That's a 318 I think but I am not that knoogable...knalagible....I am not that smart

yeah, i asked for a pic of the numbers... the locked thing bugs me.. hate to waste $200 on junk if the block is trash
I disagree.
The flow of the 318 poly heads stock can support it just fine. In fact, just using the factory dual quads , you can pick up easily 90 hp over stock.
Now, you can also pick up 60 hp just buy dumping the factory two barrel for the factory 4 barrel.
The factory two barrel is just super restrictive.
That said, if it were me since you have it already, put the weiland on it with a 570 street avenger carb and then leave it alone
The Harmonic balancer is how I always tell but maybe it is the picture. The 360 is bigger because it is an externally balanced engine. It does look like it has the balancing grooves though so what do I know
Agree with that, have 2 barrel on 318 and so far been reliable and good running. Truck does feel underpowered a bit but don't think I want to mod it, so stock I like it

cool.. gonna buy that 360 roller... $200... told him he can pull any parts off he wants.. would save me time.. And he's gonna deliver it.. Told him i would give an extra $20 if it went through a car wash before coming out.. that thing is nasty.. looks like the valve covers leaked for years..
The oil filler cap is for sure on a later model engine.

well, i just found the limit on the LA Rollers for cam is around .540 (my current cam is .535 in my 318) and i will probably go bigger.. so roller block doesn't matter.. i see Morel has solid rollers for $520 a set.. Not sure if i should think bout a bigger cam since it's a street car anyway.. but i probably won't do anything til next winter if my 318 holds up

We're in St Charles, MO one of the oldest cities in the Midwest. Anyway at the hotel we're staying at we kept seeing all these hockey fans wearing college jerseys. Turns out down the street last night was the NCAA Div 1 semi-finals, and Saturday will be the finals. Sorry to say we won't make it. Card show opens this afternoon, and we'll go again tomorrow then head home Sunday morning. Have a great weekend.
