Stop in for a cup of coffee

When I would drive to work early mornings I’d see deer just off edge of road. Too late to react if they would decide to jump out on road. Always a few dead in ditches. I’ve only hit one with hardly a scratch. Knock On Wood

There is not a night that I don't see deer and even during the day my 8 mile drive to town is chancy. But when it comes to deer season you can't find them

It’s been a few years but my car/truck deer total is at 13! Mid 80’s Dodge truck bumpers are quite resilient to a deer! LOL. Put 3 in the freezer this year and there are still a lot around

Good morning everyone. Had the cervical spine MRI last night at 645. Made for a long day. Hopefully will have more info next week as to a plan.

New motor should show up after work... hoping the block is usable and i'm not throwing money way..ad said it's locked.. guy said it turns back and forth like 1/4" which should mean it's not a spun main. hoping for just cyl rust from sitting...

And then start planning my build... when the time comes i'll make sure to start a cam thread so 30 experts can argue if 290@.050 and .640 is a street cam :)

Probably gonna keep my current cam, it's a bit much in the 318, prolly a bit small in the 408.. but will be fine
Here is my vote based on all the info you have shared.

Wifes car just got out of the shop second time after she hit second deer. I forgot to mention the deer up the hill on Silverlake as we headed out, when I saw him coming home from work had two feet on one side of fogline, two on the other and eating grass right on edge of road. Anyway, he was there and it's now proven, the Stinger is a deer magnet. That deer jumped up and across the road right in front of us, I told her slam on the brakes (Brembos) as she was trying to slowly stop....um no. Anyway, we averted a third trip to the body shop and the deer lived to see another day.
One got hit maybe 100 yards down the road last week. I was watching TV and heard the tires screech...
