Wow walked a guy through his elect ign problem. Three hours later and a lot of frustration he had a Pet II coil in his system and it shorted!

EOIC stands for Exhaust Opening, Intake Closing when working with the intake and exhaust valves in a single combustion chamber. To use this method, pull the valve cover so that you can see the rockers and valve stems and turn the engine over by hand. (You can also use a bump starter if you choose.) Work with only one pair of valves from a single combustion chamber at a time. When you see the exhaust valve beginning to open-you will see the rocker begin to push the valve stem down-you will know that the corresponding intake valve is fully closed with the lifter on the base circle of the cam lobe. Likewise, when you see the intake valve fully open and then start to close (Intake Closing), you will know the corresponding exhaust valve is ready to be checked. Repeat the process with each pair of valves on the engine.

Seems pretty much how I do it. just follow those instructions you're a smart guy, it will come to you.
 
It is rough walking some one through that. He had a RE unit in there that crapped out and kept going back to that diagram! :BangHead: :BangHead: Got it somehow!

Doing stuff over the phone is a *****... i do computer stuff and i have to tell people where like the enter key is on a keyboard. it makes me nuts.. most of the time i just say bring it in.. it will take 30 seconds and i won't be as enraged as this phone call is bout to make me.

Usually once a week. This guy is a good guy dealt with him for years. Otherwise, I would not have done it.

I used to.. i rarely actually cook anymore, i used to love it. but being alone.. meh... i mostly eat frozen stuff now. Although i'm getting a itch to smoke something.. thinking turkey breast and legs.. smoked turkey breast cut into strips is a really good snack
