Stop in for a cup of coffee

Yeah, We did pretty good. for the first time being here, if it's up to me, we'll be back!
Just curious. Is it a lack of core blocks or demand or both that you all don’t offer big block options for Mopars? Not critical just curious

It's Scamp Sunday!

Good morning :D

Reason I’m asking. I started final assembly on my 440. Turned it over on the engine stand to put the oil pan on, heard something loose. Found what appears to be a junk of the cylinder wall in the water port on number 1. :BangHead: Keep in mind, I had this block “professionally” machined and sonic checked… been sitting on my stand waiting for the cam shaft I’ve been saving for. Finally get that and now this.

Luckily I have a spare 440 block.

Little bit of everything. No cores. low sales, expensive, 2 piece rear main rope seals. got to the point where our core suppliers could only find RB blocks in motor homes, and they went out and bought larger crushers to crush Winnebago's. On top of the face we're not a rebuilder anymore. everything we do is brand new EXCEPT the 360 block we use on the 408's. And believe me, I make special considerations for those because I'm very partial :)
Also from a functionality standpoint, one of our Gen III's cost less, and does more, than an RB.

You're basically spot on, just giving some more insight.

Damn, sorry Chris. :BangHead:

I'm still very happy with my Blue Print 408

Yeah thats too bad. I wish we were "small enough" to do the special projects here and there, but we've simply grow to such a size, and use so many all new components/blocks, we just cant do the rebuild part anymore. Good problem to have at the end of the day.

great to hear! we had so much positive feedback on the 408's at this show, it blew my mind! (not that the feedback was positive...but the fact we had SO many people identify themselves and give a testimonial!!)

I get a fair amount of people asking about mine and I give them your card.
I ran out of your cards so just give them your # now.

I figured it was something along those lines.

My buddy has one and it has been sitting for years. It needed a head gasket and he never got it fixed. So we agreed on a price of $300. But I want to see it first. I haven't seen it in years.
