Stop in for a cup of coffee

What are you looking to achieve? Can narrow it down for you. Also the ballast resistance should be matched.
Want to keep two of the better ones, get rid of all the others along with a vintage Chevy distributor I picked up at Pettit Jean ladt weekend, like this, but Chevy. Dual point distributor

From the photos of that train wreck, the engine must have made contact between the truck cab and trailer. Truck driver hurt badly and still alive. 3 injuries among the 200+ passengers all minor. No explosions or fires. Hopefully the broccoli wasn't badly contaminated by the 2000 gallons of fuel that escaped the tanker. Highway is open. That train must have had bad joojoo from the beginning of its journey. About 40 rail mile before it got here they had to stop because a pregnant woman had a "medical emergency" on board, that stop lasted 90 minutes :realcrazy: . The passengers were loaded on busses to continue their journey after the wreck. Just a guess on my part, the truck driver had headphones on. Those train engineers religiously sound their horns well ahead of each and every crossing regardless if there is a vehicle nearby or not. Could have been a lot worse. The victims were blessed.
Play stupid games, win stupid prizes that usually hurt. Don’t play frogger with a train. You’ll lose every time

I have a friend telling me I should look into a HEI ignition system now that I'm about to convert the valiant from points to electronic ignition.

I always stayed very strict with factory parts because I'm not a racer. Anyone who challenges me to a race, will probably win because my cars are slow and for use on the street.

For the first time in looking into HEI, I have already started swapping cars over to the newer mini starters, because why wouldn't you, they are better than the originals in every way.
Ray has heat sinks for the module, to mount on distributors-i think.

We saw something similar last night while we were enjoying a nice fire. A big doe and her two "youngin's" walked out of the woods to eat the apples that had fallen off the tree, and even though they were less than 100 feet from us, they didn't seem to be spooked at all when my wife got up and put some more wood on the fire. They must have been there a good 10 minutes or so, and when the apples were all "et", they just ambled off back into the woods.

Pretty cool, actually!

Good thing we didn't have the dogs out with us....
