Stop in for a cup of coffee

-
Screw that! After Thanksgiving, bring it on. But now? Nope!
That reminds me, I need to get my snow blowers out and fired up. Check them over for the season. I need to change the oil on both. It has been a while but I haven't used them much the last couple years.

I had a cup of coffee, well 3/4 cup, wife was in very bad shape till 1 am, she woke up at 2 thirty this morning feeling more settled, refilled her sprite glass with sprite and a new clean straw, new water, with new straw, changed her pillow case and she fell back to sleep, slept threw to almost 8 this morning, what a night/morning. So glad Jim's kids hung out at the ranch and didn't need me this morning at 5 thirty.. mikie is boiling water for oatmeal meal , hungree and tired..

To all the veterans here, enjoy this day, it's for you and wish I could serve each of you a VERY fine BBQ lunch today with all the fixings, you guys and galls make it possible for my family to enjoy a free life..

Aw, ****! I didn't use my little "pusher/sweeper" blower at all last year, and since the gas was drained in the spring of '24 (!), I think I'm still good to go with that one, as I always change the oil in the spring before laying them up.

But the 28" snowblower- that one may be another story, as I don't recall draining the gas, or changing the oil, this past spring....so, yeah! I guess I should get on that one sometime soon.

I have an old Snapper 2 stage that hasn't ran in years. I should just load it up and send it. There's an old guy near our other house that messes with them and sells them. That might be an option. Sometimes all you need is fresh gas and a spark plug. In a perfect world. Bottom line is, It probably wouldn't start if I needed it so I need to get it out of my storage garage. Not worth the hassle trying to sell a non running snow blower.

Due to the 2nd surgery on schedule for Dec 17, my buddy's company is going to take care of my snow this year. Woohoo!

That's because we are all old school. My 35 year old nephew is always gambling and he doesn't have the money. We be old....or at least I am
I can say I tried it twice. This year in the Ky derby. Turned 40 bucks into 220 after picking the top 3 horses and the winner for the derby. Then tried again for the Preakness. Turn 40 bucks into 54. Decided I was done after that.

Then again, anyone with a 401k gambles. Stocks are no more predictable than a horse race in all honesty.

(LOL!) That guy gets around! There's one near my folk's place, another near the office here, and yet another just outside of Zimmerman. Old dude's gotta keep busy, and sometimes those are the best way to go.

Easiest commissary run ever! We were the only ones in it. Now if the fire goes out in the wallet things will be good.

Walmart was packed today . But I managed to finally find the big turkey I’ve been hunting for. 24 pounder for .87 cents per pound. Butterball
