Seems Winchester, VA is considering building a hotel/convention/casino complex.
Gambling has really taken off. Non stop commercials...(of course, I'm listening to sports radio, so DUH). But even when watching shows on the television. I'm in middle of a documentary on the Napoleonic Wars and it's nothing but pharmaceuticals and Draft Kings ads.
Randomly - why do we still call it "television"? It's a computer screen and most people stream entertainment. But, "sitting in front of the video panel" or "Going to watch some screen" sounds off.
