Speaking of doughnuts:
I walked into a diner and the cook was making hamburgers. A one armed guy that would take a handful of burger and smash it against his chest to make a patty then drop it on the griddle. I told the waitress, "that doesn't look very sanitary". She said "you should see him make doughnuts"
